Thank you for visiting my bridal make up website. My Name is Karen Horner and I work as a freelance professional make-up artist in the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire area. I have worked with many brides and aim to make their special day a little bit more special, by having their make-up applied by a professional make-up artist using professional products. I am a MAC Pro member and I only use the best possible products, my kit includes products from Laura Mercier, MAC, Screen face, Nars, Jemma Kidd, Bobbi Brown, Dior and Chanel. I have trained at the Jemma Kidd school of Make-up in London, where I trained in the latest bridal make-up trends and techniques to ensure that all make-up applied will last all day. I attended a MAC bridal make up masterclass in April to ensure that I am up to date with all the latest fashions and trends. I am also fully insured through the guild of beauty therapists. Being a qualified beauty therapist, I can offer valuable advice so that you are fully prepared for your big day.
Prior to your wedding you will have a make-up trial at my home-based studio. Together, we will discuss your requirements, and following these discussions I will create a look that you are completely happy with, that will suit your style and the theme of the wedding; be it a natural radiant look or a look that is more glamorous. On the your wedding day I will come to your perferred location to apply the bridal party's make-up in order to make you all feel as relaxed as possible. A recent addition to my kit is an Airbase air-brushing tool this creates a fabulous, radiant and flawless yet natural foundation that is silicone based and longlasting excellent for photography.
I will travel to many different areas in the Midlands including Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborugh, Corby, Rushden, Market Harborough, Peterborough, Leicestershire, Stamford and Milton Keynes. Any location will be considered, please e-mail me with your requirments.
